Sarah has in depth experience in health service design, commissioning and service improvement and having worked in a variety of healthcare systems and settings both here and in Australia and the United Kingdom over the past 17 years. Sarah has a strong commitment to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and acting as a Crown Partner.
She is known for her in depth knowledge of service commissioning and in finding innovation and creative solutions for her clients. She uses a wide range of tools to complete her work and is a strong advocate of co-design principles to connect and learn with people as part of designing health services.
Sarah has worked as Public Health Nutritionist for 5 years overseeing population health programmes that aimed at improving access to healthy food and behaviour change. Sarah brings a strong background in population health with specific service knowledge in sexual and reproductive health, immunisation, tobacco control, screening services, primary maternity and women’s health.
Since onboarding with StayWell in 2021, Sarah has been involved in service reviews, in depth needs analysis for specific populations, strategy and model of care development.
